What I Do

With over 12 years of experience, I provide safe and effective personal training and nutrition planning in a comfortable, encouraging atmosphere. Instead of simply telling you what to do, I show you what your body is capable of. I use a multifaceted approach to exercise, implementing free weights, body weight, TRX, kickboxing, circuit training, cardiovascular exercise, and more. I am able to compensate for any limitations you may have, ensuring the best results possible and a great workout every session. I am equipped to guide you through a complete body transformation; be it weight loss, gaining lean mass, sports conditioning, pre & post-operative exercise, improved balance and flexibility, pre/post-natal exercise, diet planning, or as a reliant motivator to hold you accountable!

Who I Work With

I have been fortunate in having a vast variety of clientele. I have trained children to the elderly and everything in between, all with unique skill sets and end goals. I truly am passionate about what I do. I see clients transform on the inside and out. Just knowing that I was a part of improving their quality of life brings me such pride and joy.

My Education & Experience

I have a bachelor’s degree in health science with a concentration in exercise physiology, and am a certified personal trainer, nutritionist, and stretch practitioner. I have spent the bulk of my career with one-on-one clients but am very experienced in group exercise as well. I taught kickboxing at various dojos for 10 years, and other classes such as bootcamp, power sculpting, TRX, spin, water aerobics, and swim. Before I entered the fitness world, I was a medical assistant which has enhanced my skills as a trainer. I have great knowledge of the human body and love to educate my clients throughout our sessions on what we are doing and why.

My Philosophy

I take a scientific approach when it comes to training. I first study your body and movements, then correct any poor biomechanics or limitations to ensure perfect form. This optimizes your workouts and more importantly prevents injury or pain. I believe in training hard AND smart.

Your consultation is always complimentary. We will first discuss your goals and expectations then take initial measurements and conduct a few physical assessments to use as benchmarks for progress and to better allow me to guide you on your fitness plan. Consultations take about an hour.
